ABOUT US

Move Up Lift Up, Inc. (MULU) is a consultancy that was founded in 2017 by Kyle Gordon and Gerald Jean-Baptiste. They began their partnership by hosting student events and programming while attending New York University (NYU) together, and their impact was key to the development of a support network and community within the underrepresented student population. Kyle and Gerald’s formative experiences at NYU set the foundation for what MULU is and represents today.

While working in the tech industry, Kyle and Gerald noticed gaps in resources and knowledge that disproportionately impact traditionally underserved populations and businesses. A recurring issue is the lack of awareness around how leveraging technological tools and platforms can jumpstart entrepreneurial and creative pursuits. MULU was formed as a creative consulting company with the intention of bridging this gap. MULU fixes these issues by helping companies with their strategic execution while also fostering positive social impact at scale. Conversely, they also ensure that artists and creators get exposed to the numerous assets available to them through tech education and programs. 

MULU strongly believes that the collective development of socially conscious institutions will not only benefit its clients but will reinforce the concept of the public good.
